Elshan Sarkarfarshi (since 2025)
Elshan Sarkarfarshi is a doctoral researcher at the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LCL). Her research lies at the intersection of robust control and optimization, focusing on developing methods to enhance stability and performance in uncertain environments. Under the supervision of Prof. Çağıl Koçyiğit, she investigates distributionally robust control strategies and their real-world applications. Her work aims to bridge theoretical advancements with practical implementations in robotics and autonomous systems. Elshan obtained her master’s degree in Electrical-Control Engineering from the University of Tabriz.
Nihat Oner (since 2024)
Nihat Oner is a postdoctoral researcher in Operations Management at the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LCL). He works with Prof. Çağıl Koçyiğit on data-driven healthcare operations, motivated by the real-life challenges faced by a hospital in Luxembourg. He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from TOBB University of Economics and Technology, where he also received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. His research interests span network optimization in supply chain management, cost allocation in cooperative logistics, cooperative game theory, machine scheduling, and solving large-scale network problems.
Rishikesh Parma (2021-2025) (Former Ph.D. Student co-advised with Benny Mantin)
Rishikesh Parma will join Toulouse Business School as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2026. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
